HDPE (HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE is chemical resistant and stiff. Examples of HDPE are milk jugs, pill bottles, buckets, motor oil containers, recycling bins, shampoo bottles and household detergents.
LDPE (LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE) is good for heat sealing, used mostly in film applications because of toughness, flexibility and relative transparency. Examples of LDPE are grocery bags and shrink wrap.
PP (POLYPROPOLENE) is molded or extruded into many plastic products in which toughness, flexibility, light weight, and heat resistance are required. It is also spun into fibers for industrial and household textiles. Examples of PP are crates, food containers and road signs (corrugated PP).
PS (POLYSTYRENE) can be made into a foam material, called expanded polystyrene (EPS), which is valued for its insulating and cushioning properties. Examples of EPS are appliance insulation, lightweight protective packaging, foodservice and food packaging. We only accept WHITE, non-food EPS.
